Privacy policy

What this site measures, when, and where it goes. Unless you say yes, no analytics script loads, no cookie is set and nothing about your visit reaches Google.

In short

There are no accounts, forms, comments or newsletters here, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. Personal data reaches us in only two ways: Google Analytics, if you allow it, and the technical access log every web server keeps.

Who is responsible

The controller for the data described on this page, within the meaning of the GDPR and KVKK, is Comesyria LTD. Any question or request about this policy goes to the address at the end of the page.

Before you choose

On your first visit the page contains no Google Analytics at all. The script is not loaded in a switched-off state — it is simply not there. Until you press "Accept", not a single request goes to Google and no cookie is written. If you decline, it stays that way and the site works exactly the same.

The only thing stored in your browser is the choice itself — accepted or declined — as one value in local storage. It keeps the banner from reappearing on every page; it is not a cookie and is never sent to our server.

What is measured if you accept

Google Analytics 4 loads and records these events: the pages you open, how far you read, language switches, what you type into site search and how many results came back, gallery opens, list filters and page changes, clicks on map links and links to other sites, and addresses that returned "not found" (404).

The site adds its own fields to those events: content_key (the Turkish name of the record, so the same page in four languages counts as one line), content_language, content_type, click_context, result_count and map_action. They describe which content was viewed; none of them identifies you.

On top of that, Google Analytics collects by itself your browser and device type, screen size, an approximate location (country, city) derived from your IP address, and the page that sent you here. It sets cookies whose names begin with _ga to recognise you on later visits. The IP address itself is neither logged nor stored by Google Analytics 4.

Every advertising permission stays off: ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation start as denied and remain denied after you accept. Measurement is not used for advertising.

The legal basis for this measurement is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Turkish data protection law KVKK, Art. 5(1)).

Please do not type personal details into the search box: the query goes into the measurement exactly as written.

Where the data goes

Measurement data is processed on Google’s servers and may be transferred to the United States. That transfer rests on the consent you give in the banner; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. How Google handles the data is set out in its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

The data is not sold, and it is not shared with ad networks or anyone else.

How long it is kept

Event data in Google Analytics is kept for at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically. Aggregate reports such as visit counts identify no one and are not bound by that limit.

Withdrawing consent

"Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page reopens the banner. The moment you press "Decline", measurement stops: no further request goes to Google, and the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser.

Withdrawing does not erase data collected before. If you want that deleted as well, write to the address below.

Maps, fonts and images

The base map on the map page, with its fonts and icons, comes from our own server; the maps on record pages are static images rendered on the server at deploy time. The site’s typefaces and photographs are served from the same domain. Browsing sends no request to OpenStreetMap, Google or anyone else.

Links such as "Directions" open Google Maps on Google’s own site; once you follow one, Google’s privacy terms apply.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours keeps a technical log of incoming requests: IP address, time, requested address and browser details. It is needed to deliver the page to you and to notice faults and abuse. It does not depend on consent — the legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)) — it is not used for measurement and it is shared with no one.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Article 11 of KVKK you can ask which data about you is processed, receive a copy, have it corrected or erased, object to processing and withdraw your consent. Send your request to the address below; it will be answered within 30 days.

Google Analytics data does not identify you by name. To find your records we may need the value of the _ga cookie in your browser.

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your EU country, or in Türkiye to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
