How many days do you need in Aleppo?
One full day covers the main line: in at Bab Antakiya in the west, through the covered souq to the Great Mosque, then up to the citadel. Those three stops give you Aleppo's order — trade, worship, defence — and the whole line is walkable. A second day belongs to the courtyard houses of Jdeideh and the soap khans; if you want to see a workshop, that is the day for it, and you find one by asking. With half a day, shorten the citadel rather than the souq.
