How many days do you need in Nebek?
One day covers the Qalamoun, but the day has to be tight. Take the north in the morning: Deir Atiyah is 10 kilometres away, the monastery of Mar Yakub outside Qara 20. Turn south to Yabroud after lunch, and leave Mar Musa for late afternoon, when the steps are in shade. With two days, give the second to the south-west and the villages of Maaloula and Jubb'adin, both 40 kilometres from Nebek.
